Lending Solutions - Director Sales Specialist

We are seeking an experienced salesperson to join our team and drive the sales of our loan management and administration software and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, with at least 7 years of experience in selling software solutions and services. Additionally, a deep understanding of loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and private credit is essential to succeed in this role. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, travelling to visit prospects as required by the business.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients to foster long-term partnerships, in person where possible.
  • Conduct thorough market research and analysis to identify potential clients, understand their needs, and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
  • Present and demonstrate the features and benefits of our suite of solutions to potential clients.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to provide feedback on client requirements, market trends, and competitive offerings.
  • Negotiate and close sales agreements, ensuring that all terms and conditions are favourable to both the client and the company.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets on a consistent basis, delivering sustainable revenue growth.
  • Keep abreast of industry developments, market trends, and competitors' activities to identify opportunities for business expansion.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote our loan management and administration software and services.
  • Provide regular sales reports and updates to the sales management team, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of successful sales experience in the software industry, preferably in selling enterprise-level solutions.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets consistently.
  • In-depth knowledge of loans, Collateralized Loan Obligations (CLOs), and private credit.
  • Strong understanding of the loan management and administration software and services industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with clients and build relationships.
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations and partner with pre-sales on product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to understand client requirements and propose tailored solutions.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
