Job Description

Navigation Support:

(Current reference is in PAA Flight Dispatch Manual 1.6.10 but will be incorporated in the next revision of Operations Manual Part A)
 

1.ProvideassistancetoOperationsControlCenter;

2.LoadingofupdatedaircraftdocumentsincoordinationwiththeFlightOperations team;

3.ProvideprintedAeronauticalChartstoflightwhenrequired(MELRequirements, Regulatory requirements,etc).

4.SecureoverflightpermitincoordinationwiththeFlightDispatchManagerand/or his/herdelegatedpersonnel;

5. ProcessdocumentaryrequirementsforNon-Scheduledflightssuchasdelivery​ flights,rescuelights,positioningflights,etc.

6. Liaiseandsecureapprovalwithgovernmentagenciesand/orregulators(e.g. CAAP,CAB,PNP,​ Customs,Immigration,Quarantine,MIAA,etc)ontherequired documentsforNon-Routineflights;

7. CoordinatewithotherdepartmentsregardingtherequirementsofRoutineand Non-Routineflights;

8. Ensurethattheprocedures,process,dutiesandresponsibilitiesoutlinedfor NavigationSupportasstatedintheEFBManualarestrictlyadheredto.


Job Requirements

Preferably with at least 2 years of experience in complex operations, dispatch or navigation environment.

Familiar with navigation environment, Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP), Airspace / Flight routing design and engineering limitations and impacts.

Proficient in both written and spoken English.

Proficient in Microsoft and Google software. Familiar with AIMs and Navtech systems will be added advantages

Approachable personality, meticulous and detailed oriented as well as self-starter.

Good time management, effective communication skills and ability to provide direction to a team.

Ability to make critical decision making.

Comfortable to work in a complex technical environment.
