The Global Accelerator is a vital pillar of this organisation, executing digital-only customer experiences across the GSK portfolio across the globe with no local sales, marketing & medical resources. We are looking for an experienced and passionate individual to act as our Scrum Master for our Canada market, helping to deliver impactful customer experiences across the relevant GPS / LOCs through an exciting opportunity, that will in turn see the successful candidate acquire new omnichannel skills and experiences that will support their onward career development aspirations.

Scrum Master role within the Global Digital Accelerator is a lynch pin to support the full x-matrix team e.g. Global strategy teams (Marketing and Medical), Regional CX Directors, Cx Delivery Managers, Medical Affairs Managers and key stakeholders across Global GPS teams, the Region & LOCs. Scrum Master is critical to coordinate and organise the team using agile methodologies, manage communications, solve problems and deliver great user journeys and ultimately customer experiences across our varied campaigns. Role of the Digital Marketing scrum master will be to bring industry digital marketing practices to this omni-channel marketing team leading all Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments and shield them from external distractions. A scrum master is a personal coach for team members and innovators who constantly seek ways to improve team experience and user journey delivery applying design thinking principles & agile marketing.

              

Key Responsibilities:

  • Guide the team and organization on how to use scrum & agile practices and methodologies within digital marketing landscape
  • Bring innovation in the space of Customer Experience and Digital Marketing
  • Lead daily scrum, sprint review, and planning meetings in a way that ensures full team engagement
  • Supports Global Cx Lead, Regional CX Directors to work with Brands on release planning
  • Supports the Regional CX Director to successfully track spend vs budget, overseeing invoice management of third parties
  • Removes impediments (e.g., cultural barriers, logistic challenges)
  • Fosters close cooperation across all team members, encourages cross-training and supporting each other
  • Leads communication and collaboration inside and outside the team
  • Shields the team from external interference and ensures the team is fully functional and productive, liaison with third parties and keeps bringing outside in - industry perspectives.
  • Fosters self-organization and growth within the team, Generates agile mindset through conversations, coaching, and role-playing exercises
  • Builds a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of punishment

Qualifications:

  • Science background plus MBA from a premier institute
  • At least 5+ years of experience with digital marketing, Customer experience, Pharma product management
  • Should have the know – how of pharma ecosystem, challenges and ways of working
  • Having the understanding of agile marketing principles is a plus
  • Understanding of digital & technology
  • Assertive, with the confidence to be voice of authority – not afraid to do what is best for the team
  • Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the job and can influence those around her/him
  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to communicate complex messages and teach new concepts
  • Able to resolve conflicts within the team before they become an issue – strong mediator
  • Active coach and mentor whose goal is to grow and maximize the team’s potential
