Responsible for the P&L and day-to-day management of one or more products or a small product family. May have a small team, including Associate Product Managers, reporting to them. Works closely with the individual they directly report to set the strategic direction for the product that supports the growth strategies for the associated product family. Performs independently in managing the requirements process. Involved with product throughout all stages of life cycle (conception, definition, development, release and post-release activities). Gathers data on new product ideas and evaluates them for financial and market potential. Works with product development on new products and current product enhancements. Ensures achievement of strategic revenue objectives for a product or small product family. Plays a proactive role in product planning and design to ensure the product is differentiated from competitors. May work with training, sales, customer support and product support on positioning products, designing demos, developing training courses, etc.

Responsibility

Via an external, customer and market focus, identify market needs and opportunities for each product or a few small products and create execution plans to capitalize on these opportunities. Remain connected to customers to ensure product continues to evolve in line with market needs and company revenue and profitability goals.

Manage and report on the overall P&L and key initiatives associated with the product / product family

Partner with sales, marketing, and business finance to develop pricing strategies and our strategic go-to-market approach, including enabling sales via ROI analysis, roadmaps, etc.

Work with R&D and Operations teams via the Epic intake processes to create operationally sound products and ensure product availability

Partner with R&D and developers to enhance/evolve products in line with overall product roadmap and vision

Provide day-to-day direction to subordinate Product Managers or Associate Product Managers, growing them into competent product management leaders

Regular and reliable attendance is required.

This job requires domestic and/or international travel (as needed).

Incumbent is accountable for professional working behavior to include; building and maintaining constructive working relationships, implementing proactive and concise communication, acting as a resource to colleagues, and engaging in collaborative thinking and problem solving while demonstrating CSG’s core competencies and values.

Keeps abreast of all applicable regulations, laws including the Bank Secrecy Act, card association rules, and policies as they presently exist and as they change or are modified. Ensures that the staff are trained and evaluated on their knowledge of and adherence to compliance policies and procedures specific to their jobs. Understands and adheres to CSG Security and Compliance standards as they appear in Information Security, Acceptable Use, Code of Conduct, and other corporate policies.

General knowledge of all products within a product family

Knowledge of company policies and practices

General knowledge of long-range and operational planning techniques

Must have ability to manage multiple active projects in a given time period with accountability fo rdeliverables

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Must have a logical and inquisitive nature

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Jira, and Confluence.

Must be comfortable presenting in front of large groups.
