Position Summary

This role as a Senior Manager of Health Care Delivery (HCD) Performance Management, will provide support for all financial planning and analysis for Health Care Delivery. Reporting to the Lead Director of HCD Finance, you’ll be responsible for the management and consolidation of HCD financial deliverables including forecasting and yearly budgeting. This role is an opportunity to join a high-growth asset in HCD that is a strategically important value driver for CVS over the next several years and help this business achieve its potential. This role requires strong strategic thinking and communication skills. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to streamlining financial planning and analysis processes, enhancing data accuracy, and improving efficiency
  • Leads the creation of executive presentations including earnings preparation documents and Board of Directors materials
  • Administers in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and profitability analysis to identify areas of improvement, cost-saving opportunities, and revenue enhancement strategies.
  • Communicates strategy analysis, insights, and recommendations to HCD leadership to support decision-making at the executive level



Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years related accounting/financial experience, business planning and/or financial analysis/reporting
  • Proficiency with S4 or other financial systems
  • Exhibited excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to confidently and expertly interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to create partnerships across large enterprises and across different levels of the organization
  • Adept at collaboration and teamwork
  • Strong problem solving and decision making skills


Preferred Qualifications

  • Health Care Delivery Business Knowledge
  • Advanced degree in Business
  • Established analytical ability, strategic thinker, learn and process new information quickly
  • Intellectually curious, eager to gain new experiences, qualifications, and responsibilities


Education-Bachelor’s Degree, with concentration in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required or equivalent years of related professional work experience

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$82,940.00 - $182,549.40


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
