As Senior Finance Director supporting the Modules business, you will play a pivotal role in steering our company through complex financial landscapes and driving substantial business growth. This senior leadership position involves direct collaboration with the executive team and a significant opportunity to shape strategic financial initiatives.

We are seeking an experienced, business savvy individual who will be responsible for all financial deliverables of the Module $1B+ business, with a heavy focus on budgets, forecasts, R&D investment prioritization, cost accounting, pricing and strategic investments. This position is more than just a pure finance role; it is a business advisory role framed around a set of financial responsibilities that interfaces into all functions driving Modules results. The role also requires the individual to be adept at a number of hands-on finance activities such as building financial models, understanding product cost models, mining data downloads to extract meaningful data, supporting a wide array of tax and statutory accounting topics, and working effectively across the broader finance organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the trusted business partner to the Modules BU General Manager and management team.

  • Collaborate with the executive leadership team to develop and execute innovative long-term financial strategies that support the company's goals.

  • Lead the strategic planning processes, including long-range planning, annual budgeting, and quarterly forecasting to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

  • Provide expert financial analysis and strategic recommendations to enhance business decisions and operational efficiency.

  • Develop and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and optimize business performance.

  • Produce insightful and intuitive reporting packages for stakeholders, making complex data accessible and actionable.

  • Analyze financial statements, sales, production, and costing metrics to identify trends, areas for improvement, and strategies for profitability enhancement.

  • Provide analytical insights directly to executive leadership, facilitating informed decision-making and identifying opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

  • Partner with R&D to manage New Product Introduction (NPI) business investments, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and financial objectives.

  • Oversee the capital budgeting processes and investment decisions, including factory investments and business case evaluations.

  • Cooperate with demand management and factory controllers to ensure effective inventory management controls are reported and tracked.

  • Partner with global manufacturing finance to ensure the resources and costs to support Modules are reasonable, consistent and in line with what was planned.

  • Champion cross-functional communication and collaboration to enhance financial discipline and accountability within the company.

  • Supervise, mentor and coach finance team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.

  • Minimum of 15 years of progressive finance leadership experience in financial planning and analysis, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. in the networking industry, with a solid foundation in the principles of data networks and/or cloud infrastructure.

  • Demonstrated capability to partner effectively with C-level executives to drive financial and strategic performance.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, adept at interpreting complex financial data and delivering actionable insights.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to influence and build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.

  • Highly adaptable, capable of prioritizing multiple initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

  • Creative thinker with a continuous improvement mindset, capable of driving cross-functional business process improvements.

  • Strict confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
