Purpose and Scope:

  • Managing finance topics, analysis of trends and developments within Care Enablement (CE)
  • Creating a story line for the numbers of Actual and Planning.
  • Preparation of presentations to the Top Management with clear message and right level of details
  • Partner with CE Senior Management and CE Finance Community and provide finance support.
  • The role will require the individual to understand the business model and underlying data.
  • Defining priorities, aligning needs, fostering financial understanding
  • Provide leadership in the development and continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
  • Coordination of and alignment with other Finance teams (e.g. global COE FP&A, global Business Services)

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring high-quality analytics to support management decision-making processes.
  • Provision of financial analyses based on internal requirements, by e.g. the Chief Financial Officer CE and CE Mmgt. Team
  • Provision of scenario analysis and their impact on financial ratios
  • Support the development of a financial strategy based on budget data and potential business development opportunities.
  • Support of the Investor Relations department by providing financial figures to investors
  • Supporting the development of long-term financial goals with the help of a financial model
  • Define Individual analyses tailored to the needs of CE segment.
    • Starting with business strategy, evaluate and define priorities and translate them into demands in cooperation with other CE Finance teams or the Central Center of Excellence.
    • Realize and/or coordinate realization with other teams (e.g. COE FP&A, COE Finance Excellence, global business services,)
    • Support effective cost management and efficiency efforts by analysis and reporting support.
    • All related to Actuals as well as Planning.
       
  • Supporting the development of long-term financial goals with the help of a financial model
  • Ensure and drive partnership with senior management of CE and other relevant to strategically enhance financial performance and business support.
  • Work with COE FP&A team on monthly close cycles with focus on technical set up and processes.
  • Manage and/or conduct ad hoc projects/business requests as required.
  • Monitor and provide guidance for the implementation of major strategic initiatives, act as escalation level and steer major projects in region CE.
  • Development and improve financial processes in cooperation with Corporate Controlling
  • Support to enable harmonization and improvements of procedures, processes, infrastructure to emphasize and reinforce growth and development.
  • Be an active member of the CE Finance teams.
  • Sharing expertise with and supporting business interfaces on all controlling-related topics
  • Ensure the confidentiality and integrity of the information being accessed.

Your Profile:

  • University degree in business administration or industrial engineering (beneficial: in field Finance and Controlling)
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years of professional experience required, as well as all relevant experience in subsidiary Controlling/Overhead Controlling
  • Leadership skills as well as project skills are advantageous.
  • Overall: management capabilities (people management, project management, priority setting, strategic mind set, proactivity)
  • Technical: Understanding of Profit & loss statements as well as Balanced sheet, Knowledge on relevant Financial KPIs and their interdependence and Management Accounting skills, IFRS skills.
  • Language: Fluent in English
