The Sales Specialist is responsible for promoting and selling Elekta solution and services to healthcare customers. This role manages the full sales cycle—from opportunity identification and tender participation to contract execution, installation coordination, and post-installation follow-up. The Sales Specialist works closely with internal stakeholders to drive sustainable revenue growth while ensuring high customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities –
Sales & Revenue Generation
Develop and execute sales strategies for assigned territory and accounts
Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing customers
Achieve annual and quarterly sales targets and manage sales pipeline accurately
Monitor market trends and competitor activities to proactively identify opportunities
Customer & Project Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including physicians, hospital management, and procurement teams
Manage tender and bid processes end-to-end
Understand customer requirements and develop tailored proposals and value propositions
Lead commercial discussions and coordinate internal approval processes (e.g. COR, Legal, Finance)
Cross-functional Collaboration
Work closely with Product Specialists and Service Teams to deliver optimal technical and service solutions
Collaborate with Finance on pricing, margin, and payment structure design
Coordinate with Regional and Global teams to ensure alignment with company strategy and policies
Post-installation & Customer Satisfaction
Monitor customer satisfaction after installation and address issues at an early stage
Identify opportunities for upgrades, service contracts, and follow-on projects
Manage accounts with a long-term partnership mindset
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies –
Required
Bachelor’s degree or above (engineering, life science, business, or economics preferred)
3–7 years of experience in B2B sales or project-based sales
Strong communication and negotiation skills in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
Fluency in Korean and business-level English proficiency
Preferred
Experience in medical devices, healthcare, or high-technology industries
Hands-on experience with hospital tenders or public procurement
Familiarity with CRM, ERP, CPQ, or similar sales systems
Basic understanding of financial concepts such as margin, P&L, and cash flow
