Invoice to Cash Specialist

As an Invoice to Cash Specialist will support the I2C team by providing high quality services, apply accounting principles to analyze financial information, and prepare all financial reports.

In this role, a typical day will include:  

  • Manage receivable function with focus on regional accounts and clearing items.
  • Act as business partner internally and externally, build solid relationships with Alcon key customers and Alcon commercial team.
  • Have deep knowledge of the rules, regulations & process related to credit and collection.
  • Reconcile open AR Balances with customer balances. Investigate in case of dis-crepancies.
  • Secure timely collection of outstanding balances.
  • Revenue and collection forecast    
  • Analyze, follow-up and investigate open items and reasons for non-payments.
  • Cooperate with the rest I2C members to align on bad debt accrual calculation.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with commercial team and support function (warehouse, order to invoice, record to report).

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO ALCON:  

  • Accounting specific education, i.e. Administration, Accounting, Finance (Bachelor degree)
  • Intermediate in English
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in accounts receivable
  • System experiences: SAP/ FI/SD/RM and/or JDE, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Word.
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Highly customer focused with and awareness of the importance of business results. Thorough understanding of customers’ expectations. Shows strong sense of urgency in solving problems getting work done, action and outcome orientation.
  • High commitment and flexibility
  • Manage priorities effectively to deliver expected results.
  • Act with integrity, speed, flexibility and accountability to achieve goals.
