Job Summary:

The Executive Support Specialist will provide technical support to our leadership and support teams in the Charleston office and manage other special project and procurement responsibilities as assigned.  The Executive Support Specialist will assure that the executive staff is technically functional in accordance with DXC technical standards, and will serve as the primary support technician for the leadership team and other team members in the office.

  • Performs troubleshooting of laptops, mobile devices, networking, printing, video conferencing, and AV issues

  • Provides hands-on anticipatory technical assistance to Executive team and others in the office

  • Investigates and resolves computer software, hardware, network, printing and telephone equipment problems

  • Follows up with customers to ensure that their needs have been met

  • Follows up with technical staff to ensure closure of issues

  • Exercises discretion in handling confidential information

  • Supports complex video and teleconferencing events as needed

  • Coordinates equipment maintenance with other Information Technology professionals such as Systems administration, Network Engineering, AV staff, and Help Desk staff

  • Follows quality standards, documents work, and displays strong customer service skills

  • Completes other project and support responsibilities as directed

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in supporting executives in a corporate environment

  • 8+ years support Mac OS

  • 5+ years supporting iOS and iPadOS devices

  • 5+ years supporting audio/visual and video conferencing systems

  • Solid understanding and practical experience in customer support operations and Help Desk operations

  • Strong knowledge in hardware and networking

  • Experience in supporting executives in a corporate environment

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills

  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to provide excellent customer service even during stressful situations

  • Ability to solve technical or operational problems and evaluate options based on relevant information, resources, experience, and knowledge

  • Ability to thrive in a changing environment, and effectively and efficiently manage time across multiple projects and responsibilities

  • Ability and willingness to manage projects across the organization and undertake additional responsibilities as needed

Hours:
 

  • Monday-Friday - 8:00AM-5:00PM In Charleston Office

  • Expected occasional weekend and after-hours work

  • On call - may require occasional travel

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $63,600 - $118,000.
