Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service (MES) has an opening for a Maryland First Grade Stationary Engineer at our Jessup Steam Plant facility located in Jessup, MD. The Stationary Engineer is responsible for safely operating, troubleshooting, and providing preventative maintenance to the water tube boilers and auxiliary equipment to ensure continuous steam to our client. Verbal and written communication with the Chief Engineer and other Stationary Engineers is necessary. This facility works 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, therefore, availability for all shifts and rotating weekends is required. Overtime is required as needed.

Full or Part-time schedules available.

Estimated Pay Range:

$70,718.27 - $97,237.61

Minimum Requirements:

Graduation from a standard high school or GED plus three years of operating experience in steam plant operations. Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points, and a First Grade State of Maryland Stationary Engineers License.
