The Opportunity:
CACI has an outstanding opportunity for a Communications Analyst in support of the US Forest Service.  You will be providing operational support to the Depot Business Group, Telecommunications Mission Area Control Officer (TMACO) and other supporting organizations.  Analyst will also be supporting ongoing short and long term modernization projects for the Forest Service IT infrastructure.


Responsibilities:

  • Plans, evaluates, and coordinates installation and/or reconfiguration of hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication networks.
  • Tracks incidents and requests from identification through resolution ensuring a quality end-to-end customer experience.
  • Conducts initial assessment, triage, research, and resolution for basic incidents and requests regarding the use of application software products and/or infrastructure components.
  • Designs, develops, and tests telecommunications software solutions.
  • Provides customer training of telecommunications features and functionality.
  • Communicates promptly on progress.
  • Executes against established Service Level Agreements (SLA). Documents resolutions and updates self-help and staff knowledge bases.
  • Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems. Provide statistics for the weekly Service Desk report on call trends.
  • Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • Reviews hardware inventory for configured systems.
  • Provides telecommunications support to the facility and other sites, performing work as requested by management.
  • Examines new services offered by vendors and makes recommendations to management
  • Performs other duties and assigned tasks as reasonably requested or required by management.
  • Work to be performed from customer location in Albuquerque, NM.



Qualifications:

Required: 

  • Detail oriented possessing technical and logistic background.
  • Strong collaboration minded working with multiple onsite, remote teammates.
  • BS degree in an IT or Telecommunications Field (experience can substitute for degree)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in information technologies work
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust 6C Clearance.



Desired:

  • Active Public Trust or Secret security clearance

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$53,200 - $111,600
