Position Overview
The senior finite scheduler will create, optimize and maintain daily and short-term production schedules across the production area. The daily schedule will drill down to the equipment/asset level and enable a seamless operation on the shop floor. Scope of daily schedule includes all production, validation, tech transfer, maintenance activities- essentially all work that requires line time on the equipment or production area. SAP will be utilized to enable manufacturing to execute and also to ensure that material requirements and other supply signals are driven accurately.
What You Will Achieve
In this role, you will:
Deliver and maintain detailed process schedules aligning the High-Level Schedule (Plan of Record) and Standard Work models to ensure the manufacture of product is carried out efficiently across the assigned production area.
Lead interactive planning sessions with Manufacturing, Technology, Engineering, Quality and Supply Chain to coordinate all activities on all assets in the manufacturing suite. Provide guidance in shutdown planning.
Collaborate with Production Planners and Material Planners to align raw material/component availability with the production schedule.
Represent the Supply Chain organization in daily manufacturing tier 1 meetings. Assess escalations/risks and the urgency needed to resolve issues. Escalate to Supply Chain tiers appropriately and ensure resolution.
Maintain SAP process orders from release to delivery/confirmation to ensure a high level of demand accuracy.
Facilitate batch tracker to ensure the batch is outbound on-time to the subsequent manufacturing site.
Track and report actual production vs. plan (schedule attainment) and actual production vs Plan of Record
Implement new scheduling systems and create real-time dashboards showing the status of equipment in the manufacturing suite. Change management.
Drive resolution to moderately complex problems and operate independently in ambiguous situations, while reviewing own work and mentoring others.
Here Is What You Need (Minimum Requirements)
High School Diploma and 10 years of experience and Associates degree and 8 years of experience OR BA/BS degree and 4 years of experience OR Masters/MBA degree and 2 years of experience
Comprehensive knowledge of the scheduling discipline and the ability to apply these skills to optimize scheduling processes. Can be leveraged as a scheduling SME.
Experience with advanced scheduling tools.
Competent with SAP MRP
Experience in GMP manufacturing or supply chain. Solid understanding of manufacturing, bottleneck analysis and scenario planning.
Highly refined collaboration skills and excels at leading cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead change
Bonus Points If You Have (Preferred Requirements)
CPIM or other applicable ASCM certification
Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response/Maestro
Six Sigma, Lean or Project Management certification
Power BI - pulling information from data lakes and visualization
PI Vision - creation of dashboards
