The Manager Risk Management is responsible for Methodist Midlothian Medical Center's Risk Management activities which include administering the risk management program on a day to day basis, managing and analyzing risk management data, conducting Root Cause Analysis, conducting risk management education programs, and complying with the Joint Commission's risk management-related standards, CMS Conditions of Participation (CoP's), and other regulatory agencies' risk management-related standards.  The Manager Risk Management serves as the patient safety officer and coordinates the patient safety program.  As part of the risk management program, the Manager Risk Management will coordinate the system for tracking, categorizing, and responding to patient complaints. 
 

Your Job Requirements:
•  Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of personal computer software applications, specifically Access, Excel and word course work in personal computer software applications.
• High school graduate with some college would be considered.
•  Licenses and/or Certifications required 
•  Must have Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (“CPCS”) or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (“CMSC”) certification. Must maintain certification through recertification.
