Your mission 
Sitting in the Purchasing department, our team dedicated to purchasing bears a lot of responsibility in the current market situation. Divided into 3 teams (direct, indirect, and projects), they all work together to source and provide L-Acoustics with the best quality resources at the lowest price within the most reasonable time frame possible.  

Under the supervision of our Commodity Purchasing Manager and Executive Director of Purchasing, the Purchasing BI Analyst Trainee will support the team by improving purchasing KPIs and enhancing Power BI dashboards to strengthen reporting and performance visibility. 

 

Responsabilities : 

  • Prepare and transform small datasets for use in Power BI. 

  • Build and enhance Power BI dashboards to improve visibility of Purchasing KPIs. 

  • Apply Power Query and basic DAX to support KPI calculations and reporting. 

  • Improve the clarity, consistency, and usability of existing dashboards. 

  • Help streamline KPI tracking through better data models and workflow design. 

  • Work with the Purchasing team to understand reporting needs and propose improvements. 

  • Document dashboard structures, data sources, and KPI definitions for future use. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Currently enrolled in a Master 2 (M2) program in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Information Systems, Supply Chain Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.  

  • Strong interest in data visualization, KPI improvement, and business performance.  

  • Good understanding of Power BI (data modeling, visuals, DAX & Power Query).  

  • Comfortable working with small, structured datasets (Excel/CSV). 

  • Knowledge of VBA for Excel is a plus

  • Attention to detail and reliability in handling data.  

  • Curious, proactive, and comfortable suggesting improvements.
