This strategic role will coordinate with and report to the Regional Director for Europe, in London. <title>Your daily adventures will include:</title>

  • <point>P&L Management - Oversee country P&L delivery against set KPIs.</point>
  • <point>Strategy - Leading the country’s strategic and annual business planning process and being responsible for its implementation. Identifying trends, risks and improvement opportunities on a local level that may impact the business with plans to leverage on the opportunities / mitigate the risks. Support the regional peers and the Regional Director in setting up the yearly strategy and the critical programs. Attend monthly, quarterly and yearly decision-making sessions alongside Regional Managers and Regional Directors. On an ad hoc basis, represent the RD in key programs or meetings.</point>
  • <point>Operations - Oversee local operations and finances to make sure we are creating the highest possible impact with our investments and maintaining operational efficiency. Designing in-market expansion strategies for ride-hailing services and features.</point>
  • <point>People Leadership - Leading and developing teams with excellent strategic thinking, integrity, knowledge, team engagement and growth. Building high performing teams with solid succession planning in the country. Always striving to become a better leader for their team while promoting Bolt’s Culture.</point>
  • <point>Stakeholder Management - Advise and closely collaborate with HQ teams such as Product, Legal, FP&A or Marketing to develop and execute key initiatives that drive growth and efficiency.</point>
  • <point>Public Relations & Government Relationships (GR) - Be the face and voice of Bolt within the country. Take an active part in the definition and the implementation of Bolt’s GR strategy in the country (national and city levels).</point>
  • <point>Business Development - Assist the Corporate Development Team in identifying strategic deals possibilities. Once the deal is complete, operationalise the deal.</point>

<title>About you:</title>

  • <point>You have 8+ years of experience in operations management or general management, ideally in a sharing economy, tech business, transport industry, startup or dynamic high-growth company.</point>
  • <point>You have prior P&L management experience.</point>
  • <point>You have prior commercial operations experience, part of which was in a lead managerial role.</point>
  • <point>You have a proven track record of delivering results in a regional, cross-functional, high-growth, and fast-paced environment.</point>
  • <point>You are a strong leader and collaborator with excellent negotiation and communication skills.</point>
  • <point>You have experience building relationships with leaders & peers, anticipating their concerns and successfully advocating for your priorities.</point>
  • <point>You are a hustler, not stopping after several obstacles a day.</point>
  • <point>You are highly analytical and have a data-driven mindset with experience reporting on business metrics, trends and using data to drive decision-making.</point>
  • <point>You are passionate about new technologies and ridesharing.</point>
  • <point>You have a strong sense of ownership with a hands-on approach.</point>
  • <point>Having experience in running regional businesses / multi-country markets and handling senior multiple functional stakeholders, is an advantage.</point>
