Summary of the role
In your role of Master Data Supervisor you are responsible for creating and overseeing governing policies around customer and product master data. This role involves developing and implementing data management strategies to ensure data accuracy, defining data standards, and overseeing data governance policies. You will perform data analysis and visualizations, drive process standardization, and enable optimal system setups with standardized processes. Additionally, the role includes analyzing existing processes, identifying areas for enhancement, and implementing solutions to streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity on a global scale. You will supervise and assist a team of data professionals, collaborate with key stakeholders, and support special projects as needed. Role and Responsibilities
Create and oversee governing policies around Customer and Product master data.
Develop and implement data management strategies, ensuring data accuracy, defining data standards, and overseeing data governance policies.
Perform data-analysis and visualizations.
Assist other departments with data requests and process improvements as necessary.
Enable the best possible system set-up with standardized processes and a thorough implementation.
Drive process standardization.
Prepare to measure, optimize and control operational performance and to monitor, streamline, automate and improve processes.
Process alignment and standardization between different regions.
Analyze existing processes, identify areas for enhancement, and implement solutions that streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase productivity on a global scale.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize business process improvement initiatives.
Participate in the development, updating and maintenance of departmental procedures, tools, and metrics for the master data team.
Align data management processes in the business’ value chains and process areas.
Manage and drive responsibilities to Master Data team, establishing strong relationships with business contacts, and making decisions based on results.
Support special projects as needed.
Base performance standards against established metrics to drive performance improvements.
Act in a manner that promotes a positive, supportive, and professional work environment, ensuring everyone is treated with dignity and respect.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree.
SAP experience is preferred.
Case management system experience is preferred.
Strong attention to detail is a must.
Ability to achieve results and execute multiple simultaneous projects.
Analytical, process management, and data management.
Demonstrated problem-solving skills using available resources.
Must be determined and flexible with a positive outlook.
Enthusiasm for working with master data.
Logical, process-based approach to problem resolution.
Able to build and maintain effective working relationships with other teams that support the delivery of quality work.
Demonstrates ownership of assigned responsibilities with a confident, independent and determined attitude.
Strict, disciplined approach to work, which includes outstanding process awareness and respect for procedures at all times.
Must possess credibility, trust and professionalism.
Able to work independently and in a team setting.
Willing to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Must be able to work in an office environment with minimal supervision.

No travel is required for the role.
