Shingle & Gibb’s District Sales Manager (DM) is responsible for interacting with a defined group of Customers, generally in the same geographic area, in order to generate sales of the Company’s products within that account base by solving those customers’ industrial automation applications. This can be done by defending our position and introducing new products/Suppliers with existing customers as well as prospecting for new accounts. The DSM will exude a passion for the customer by exceeding their expectations and building strong partnerships with current and prospective clients. At Shingle & Gibb, we view our suppliers as customers and expect the DSM to build strong partnerships with suppliers as well as our valued customers.

Travel:
The District Sales Manager position requires one day per week in an office environment and the other four days per week in the field traveling to customer sites. Most of the travel will be in the local region daily, however, overnight travel should be expected. Occasional Supplier training at their facilities may require overnight travel outside of the region. Expect 25 nights per year minimum of travel.

Compensation Details:
The expected pay rate for this position is starting at $80,000 - $100,000 annually. This position is also commission eligible based on specific and relevant business metrics. You will also receive three weeks of vacation in your first 12 months of employment as well as sick days and holidays. Benefits include medical insurance and prescription drug, dental insurance, vision plan, life insurance, flexible spending accounts, disability benefits, and a 401(k) savings plan.
