Summary
Workiva is looking for a Sales Enablement Principal for Financial Services that is experienced in selling to economic buyers in the Financial Services Industry (investments, banking and insurance) across the globe. The FS lead will be a collaborative partner with Sales Leadership, Analyst Relations, Industry Experts, Product Marketing and Product Management, to ensure Workiva Sales Leadership and Sellers are prepared for business conversations on issues facing financial services executives. From the seller’s first day at Workiva on, the FS lead will work in partnership with Sales Leadership to drive seller productivity through onboarding, instructor-led training and just-in-time learning that equips sellers, ensures comprehension and demonstrates readiness before they engage with customers. The FS Lead will influence the GTM motions, messaging and assets that support the FS team by enforcing sales consumability and usability as they work in partnership with the FS Product Management and Product Marketing leads. As part of the Workiva Revenue Enablement organization, you will collaborate with Enablement Leadership to create and deliver programs that reduce time-to-productivity and increase ARR in the Financial services sector by working proactively to prepare Sales Leadership to coach and drive best-practices.
What You’ll Do
Work with FS Leadership to create a strategic plan to win and drive the cross-functional work streams to create the enablement materials
Create and lead one-to-many and one-to-one learning experiences that drive productivity during onboarding and everboarding experiences
Work closely with go-to-market stakeholders to create and lead sales-consumable programs
Partner on a daily basis with the the Global Field Coaching team to ensure alignment with the needs of the front-line management team
Participate actively in global sales calls, regional meetings and forecasts in order to stay connected with the business, identify needs and provide updates on programs
Support the planning, coordination, prioritization, and execution of training activities such as webinars, onboarding, certification and ongoing readiness on key releases
Create certifications and practicums that ensure our sellers are prepared for customer engagements
Develop, maintain, and report on key KPIs for enablement programs that align to leading indicators of revenue
Work in collaboration with the Creative Operations team to develop, deploy, and maintain learning assets through internal and partner facing platforms
What You’ll Need
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 8 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD with 6 years of experience
Experience selling technology to CFOs, CAOs or COOs
Experience facilitating virtual and classroom training
Experience enabling multiple sales audiences on a platform sale with multiple C-Level economic buying audiences
Salesforce.com experience required
Preferred Qualifications
Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable programs
Understanding of strategic alliance and channel organizations in Saas software
Outstanding time management skills - strong business acumen with an ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and proven ability to influence across organizational boundaries
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to non-technical buyers
Learning Management System experience
Experience in Enterprise software companies
Highspot experience preferred
Hands-on experience with Workiva solutions is a plus
Traveling Requirements & Workiva Conditions
Global travel up to 30%
Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office
How You’ll Be Rewarded
✅ Salary range in the US: $147,000.00 - $250,000.00✅ A discretionary bonus typically paid annually
✅ Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
