At HP Nordics/Denmark, we have the exciting opportunity for a “Specialty” Sales Specialist, to join the World’s number 1 IT company in an exciting role, based in Denmark. The successful candidate will be a contributor within the enthusiastic and driven extended sales and category team of 30plus. The Sales Specialist will be covering a key role in identifying and developing customer- and partner-opportunities within “Specialty” areas Workstations and Cloud Client Computing.
Responsibilities
In this role of Sales Specialist, you are responsible for managing key customer opportunities within the Specialty segment. This includes amongst other things that you act as trusted HP expert towards customers and support HP account managers in key Specialty opportunities. Furthermore, you drive new business by developing the channel eco-system through the specialized partners, present at events and act as subject matter expert in complex sales processes. You translate the market opportunities together with category into a business plan, strive for strong market shares, and optimize profitability. The business plan includes a strategic component as well, defining the growth areas, as a tactical component in which the short-term activities are planned, and execution is described.
In this role you’ll work closely together with the teams in End user Sales, Channel Sales, Presales and Category. You also are connected to international teams to provide feedback about the market and opportunities.
What we wish for you to bring to HP:
University or bachelor’s degree level education (e.g. business administration, economics, etc.)
Typically, 5 to 8 years of related experience (e.g. end-user sales, channel sales, business development)
Knowledge and interest in current technology within designated areas and new technology like VR and AI
Extensive Industry Knowledge
Program Management skills preferably within the channel
Ability to make things happen and drive plans through to a successful conclusion (self-starter).
Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills and integrity.
Ability and experience to work with virtual teams.
Persistency, the ability and will to find a way to make it work.
Strong communicator and ability to build long term relationships.
Customer oriented mindset and thinking.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to internal stakeholders and management.
Fluent in Danish and English
