We are looking for interns interested in state, local, federal, and international taxation. As an Intern you will work side by side with subject matter experts in a team-based environment to identify tax savings opportunities for Fortune 500 and 1,000 clients. Interns will receive training and development to become the most seasoned state, local, federal, and international tax professionals in the industry.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Consultants in preparing Grant analyses reports for Manager review

  • Prepare all hiring and training grants for Managers review and assist with the compliance reporting post grant approvals.

  • Assist Managers and Consultants with researching Grant programs for client eligibility

  • When required, assist with responses from Grant Authorities.

Education and Experience:

Working towards a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business/Administration, Accounting, Finance, Political Science, Journalism or Science is required. General knowledge of Federal and Provincial Grants, business development and business plan writing would be strong assets.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual must have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft® Word, Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research.

Certificates and Licenses: Valid driver's license required.

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Compensation Summary: For Ontario based positions, this role pays $19/hr. The firm makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
