Individuals in this role are responsible for RSM USI Centralized Conflicts Team operations.  Individuals must have previous experience managing personnel and reviewing work product performed by others.  Work product performed by RSM USI personnel and returned to RSM US should be complete and ready for delivery to the end user.

Essential Duties

Manage the RSM USI Centralized Conflicts Team (CCT) and responsible for overall USI CCT operations.  This includes:

  • Reviewing Conflicts personnel work product to ensure accuracy and efficient turnaround prior to return to RSM US CCT.
  • Assisting Conflicts personnel with their questions and training.
  • Being a career advisor for Conflicts personnel.
  • Recurring meetings and other communications with RSM US Conflicts Team management.
  • Strong understanding of research procedures and third party resources resulting in improved efficiency and turn-around of conflicts searches. 
  • Develop the ability to respond to correspondence from engagement teams, including anticipating and addressing engagement teams concerns and escalate issues as they arise.
  • Send correspondence to the engagement teams regarding questions or data needed to perform a conflicts search, as instructed by the RSM US CCT.
  • Identify performance improvement opportunities.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS

  • Graduate
  • MBA - Preferred

 

TECHNICAL/SOFT SKILLS

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Familiarity with financial and legal transactions, organization types, and corporate family structures

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous conflicts specialist experience Required
  • Experience effectively managing team personnel – Required
  • Experience in a professional services setting Required
  • Experience in general business research Required
  • Attention to detail Required
  • Must be able to work in a team environment Required
  • Must exercise good judgment skills Required
  • Experience with the independence rules in the United States, including the PCAOB, SEC, AICPA - Preferred
