The Role

As a DevOps / OpenShift Engineer at Kyndryl, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable container-based solutions. You will support critical operations, lead technical discussions, and ensure the stability and performance of OpenShift clusters in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Build, migrate, deploy, update, and maintain scalable solutions based on Red Hat OpenShift
• Provide support during critical situations and incident management, effectively troubleshooting and ensuring platform stability
• Manage clusters, automate processes, and optimize performance
• Lead technical discussions across teams and with clients
• Support 24/7 operations and implement monitoring, backup, and patching strategies

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• 1+ year hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes; strong background with Kubernetes is a major plus
• Strong background in GitOps, scripting (e.g., Bash, Python, Go), and automation
• Familiarity with Red Hat tools (Ansible, RH Application Runtimes)
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid environments
• DevOps mindset and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
• Certifications such as Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Kafka, Elastic, network configuration, LDAP integration
• Monitoring tools and log/event management
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in fast-paced environments
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach
