Valeo is a tech global company, designing breakthrough solutions to reinvent the mobility. We are an automotive supplier partner to automakers and new mobility actors worldwide. Our vision? Invent a greener and more secured mobility, thanks to solutions focusing on intuitive driving and reducing CO2 emissions. We are leader on our businesses, and recognized as one of the largest global innovative companies.

Platform Engineering & Automation

  •  Core Platform Design: Lead the technical implementation and evolution of the cloud platform, ensuring automation is the core principle across public cloud (AWS, GCP, Chinese local player) and on-premise deployments.

  •  Kubernetes Management: Drive the maturation and operational management of Kubernetes as the primary container orchestration platform. This includes managing clusters across public clouds, private data centers, and edge/manufacturing sites.

  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Champion and enforce GitOps principles using Terraform like tooling to ensure consistent, repeatable, and scalable deployments from data centers to manufacturing floors.

Developer Experience (DevX) & CI/CD

  • Pipeline Optimization: Implement and mature CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid, reliable software delivery, ensuring alignment with the environments of other departments such as DSIS and Valeo Services.

  • Self-Service Enablement: Foster a self-service model for development teams by providing automated mechanisms and necessary guardrails for provisioning cloud resources efficiently.

  • Service Rationalization: Lead the technical transition from IaaS to PaaS to improve cost efficiency and allow development teams to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure management.

Operations, Observability & Reliability

  • Monitoring Framework: Establish and maintain a robust observability framework using tools like Grafana and Prometheus to monitor system performance, health, and cost across hybrid environments.

  • Reliability Engineering: Define and monitor Service Level Objectives (SLOs) and KPIs for critical manufacturing applications. Implement proactive alerting and incident response mechanisms to minimize downtime and ensure high availability for production lines.

  • OT Integration: Collaborate with teams to address specialized requirements for operational technology (OT) environments within manufacturing sites.

Team & Technical Leadership

  • Mentorship: Mentor cloud engineers and architects, fostering a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing across public cloud and on-premise domains.

Security Collaboration: Work closely with Cybersecurity teams to ensure security and compliance best practices are integrated into the platform design.
