The Customer Success Project Lead will play a key role in leading the end-to-end business transformation of a Thomson Reuters customer the Global Large Law space. This central project manager role is the day-to-day face of Thomson Reuters towards our customer, and leads daily project execution ranging from initial planning and analysis to global delivery.

About the Role

In this role as a Customer Success Project Lead, you will:

  • Lead and manage a firm-wide transformation project of a Thomson Reuters customer firm in the Global Large Law space, ensuring alignment with both firms’ strategic goals

  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource allocation, and risk management strategies

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, fostering trust and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle

  • Facilitate regular status meetings and progress updates with stakeholders, providing clear and concise reports on project status, risks, and achievements

  • Create high-quality deliverables, including detailed reports, presentations, and documentation, tailored to the needs of the customer and aligned with project objectives

  • Identify, analyze, and mitigate potential risks and issues that may impact project success, implementing proactive solutions to address challenges

  • Drive change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, technologies, and practices within the customer’s organization

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution

  • Monitor and measure the program impact, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement


About You

You're a fit for the role of Customer Success Project Lead if your background includes:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required and the Master’s Degree or equivalent

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in project management, consulting or similar fields

  • 8+ years of experience in leading large-scale transformation projects in the legal (or similar) industry, or as part of a consulting company

  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, including proficiency in developing comprehensive project plans and risk management strategies

  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

  • Demonstrated expertise in creating high-quality deliverables, such as detailed reports and presentations, tailored to client needs

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of identifying and mitigating risks and issues

  • Proficiency in driving change management initiatives and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve cohesive project execution

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following metro locations: Los Angeles, New York City, San Francisco, Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $112,400 - $208,800. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $102,200 - $189,800. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
