MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work from verbal/written instructions for routine workshop activities.
- Assemble and transport materials handling equipment.
- Assist with maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and parts.
- May be assigned to specific trade area (e.g., mechanical) and carry out some routine aspects of the trade activity.
- Apply knowledge of welding and fabrication activities.
- Complete basic reports and/or documents of work completed, as required.
- Communicate with the customer, where applicable.
- Network and attend local training.
- Learn how to prepare and execute all activities in line with SHEQ rules, regulations, procedures, instructions, guidelines, and promote awareness, including addressing anomalies to other.
JOB PURPOSE
- Carry out maintaining, repairing, and inspecting activities, using diverse tools and techniques, with limited supervision.
- Perform a range of fabrication works and maintenance activities on equipment and components according to defined specifications, covering mechanical and other trades
