ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT


The Security Engineering team advances Franklin Templeton’s cybersecurity capabilities by designing, implementing, and operating enterprise security solutions that protect sensitive systems and data. The team works closely with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and application teams to enforce security policies, regulatory compliance, and least-privilege access principles. Team members collaborate across functions to integrate privileged access management (PAM) and identity and access management (IAM) solutions [expand acronym], respond to security incidents, and continuously improve security tools and processes. The environment emphasizes innovation, shared ownership, and continuous learning, offering opportunities to work on complex security challenges and deliver high-impact cybersecurity services.

HOW YOU WILL ADD VALUE

Core Responsibilities


• You will design and maintain privileged access management solutions.
• You will integrate PAM with identity and access management systems [expand acronym].
• You will enforce least privileged access policies.
• You will monitor and manage privileged accounts.
• You will respond to PAM-related security incidents.

• You will provide day-to-day operational support to customers, projects, and PAM applications
• You will serve as a team lead, offering training, guidance, and ongoing support to team members

Security Engineering & Operations


• You will administer and monitor security profiles.
• You will investigate security violations and exceptions.
• You will manage the lifecycle of security tools.
• You will conduct security assessments and ensure compliance.

Infrastructure & Threat Management


• You will design and implement secure infrastructure solutions.
• You will facilitate vulnerability management and threat assessments.
• You will maintain runbooks, playbooks, and platform standards.

Team & Collaboration

• You will collaborate with internal teams and vendors.
• You will mentor junior team members.

WHAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE

Experience


• Proven experience designing and deploying secure, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience in cybersecurity and identity roles.

Education & Certifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Technical Skills

• Strong knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing.
• Proficiency in scripting using Perl, Python, and Linux/Unix.
• Experience with security automation and device configuration.
• Familiarity with SOAR, SIEM, CASB, AWS, and Azure [expand acronym].

Preferred Training & Certifications

• CyberArk PAM Administration.
• CyberArk PAM Install and Configure.
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) [expand acronym].
• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) [expand acronym].
• Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) [expand acronym].

Soft Skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills.

WORK SCHEDULE & LOCATION

St. Petersburg, FL only

Hybrid work model, 2-3 days per week in the local office.

We expect the annual salary range for this position to be $128,000-$150,000 depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
