The Role:

Ensuring customer satisfaction by efficiently installing, repairing, inspecting, and commissioning services while considering cost-effectiveness and operational factors. Application of problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve process issues across various situations. Providing technical support to the sales team and prospective customers through expertise in relevant tasks, tools, and procedures.

Main responsibilities:

• Installing, repairing, inspecting, and commissionig various products and equipment at customer sites or company facilities.

• Report and document service activities, including findings, actions taken, and recommendations.

• Plan, manage, and maintain tools and equipment required for service work.

• Support customers by suggesting improvements to products, equipment, or processes.

• Provide technical assistance to the sales team to enhance customer engagement and service offerings.

• Troubleshooting and resolving customer issues efficiently to ensure minimal downtime.

• Delivering positive results in sales-client interactions, contributing to customer satisfaction and business growth.

• Guiding and mentoring colleagues in service methods and tools to improve overall team expertise.

• Sharing the knowledge and best practices to support team development.

• Working independently while maintaining high standards of service and professionalism

 Your Profile:

• Your Profile:

• Grade 12 (Matric)/ NQF Level 4 or equivalent qualification

• Diesel Mechanic or Millwright Trade Certificate with POE/ Proof of Modules /Proof of Apprenticeship is compulsory

• Minimum 5year experience working as Field Service Technician with proven competence as Earth moving Equipment Technician in the above-mentioned field

• Basic computer literacy

• English proficiency

• Valid driver's license

• Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment Full physical & medical certificate to work in mining environment Experience in:

• Fault finding / electrohydraulic / auto electrical / hydraulic / PLC, remote control offerings

• Underground mining environment, maintaining of earth moving equipment

• Must be a Namibian citizen.
