The Consulting Intern supports the Consulting team in general operations, data analysis and modeling related to RKL’s clients’ more challenging financial management needs. The Intern is paired with a Consultant matching their skills and expertise, however will be participating in consulting engagements of various focus areas and industries.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with conducting financial analysis and market data research and providing recommendations to the client
  • Provide administrative and technical support to the Financial Management Services team on a variety of functions
  • Network with peers and team members at all levels

  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for efficiencies

Education, Experience and Certifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Desire to pursue the CPA designation and a career in professional services/public accounting
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills required
  • Strong technical skills with the ability to problem-solve in a fast-paced environment

Essential Functions

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position as needed
  • The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery etc.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as an adding machine, copy machine, and computer printer
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner and exchange information with internal and external team members/vendors as needed
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 pounds
  • Ability to work outside of normal business hours and weekends as needed
  • Ability to travel to other office locations as needed, overnight travel may be required

Salary Range:

$20.00 - $25.00
