We are looking for a highly capable Cyber Security Engineering Lead, reporting to the Head of Security Architecture and Engineering to join the Security Engineering team. Your role in FNZ will be to deploy and manage best in class security tooling and processes to support a complex, growing global organisation. You will be experienced in engineering at a large/enterprise scale and will be skilled in leading, problem-solving and collaborating across teams and timezones. You will have the opportunity to define and enhance security for over 7000 users and tens of thousands of devices using industry leading solutions.
Specific Role Responsibilities
Enhance and manage security tools and processes for the FNZ Group, including:
Network Security (WAF, IDS/IPS)
Cloud Workload Protection
Cloud Security Posture Management
Collaborate with Modern Workplace and Platform Infrastructure teams to enhance the security of FNZ systems and architecture
Contribute to architectural reviews
Carry out vendor selection and management
Keep up to date with evolving attack tactics, techniques and procedures and apply continuous improvement to security tools and processes
Translate regulatory and client requirements into technical security controls
Experience required
Primary requirements
Experience of engineering in large scale environments, specifically managing multiple stakeholders and change in complex technology stacks.
Experience with using automation during deployment and management, this may include Powershell, Python, Terraform, REST APIs.
Proven ability to develop secure solutions to complex problems.
Experience of deploying and managing enterprise security tooling such as Network Security (WAF, IDS/IPS), Cloud Workload Protection, Cloud Security Posture Management
Excellent documentation skills and ability to communicate with varied stakeholders.
Team Management/Mentoring
Ability to support strategy development
Vendor management
Secondary requirements
Experience of security engineering in regulated industries
Experience of mapping security solutions to frameworks (NIST, SCF, ISO)
