We are seeking an experienced SAP ePPDS (Embedded Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling) Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, configuration, and implementation of the ePPDS module within SAP S/4HANA. The role requires a deep understanding of production planning processes and strong expertise in advanced planning tools. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities: • Design, configure, and implement SAP ePPDS within SAP S/4HANA framework. • Work closely with business users to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. • Optimize planning and scheduling processes using ePPDS functionalities. • Set up and manage heuristics, planning strategies, and PP/DS master data. • Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements. • Integrate ePPDS with other SAP modules (PP, MM, APO, IBP, SD). • Provide support during system upgrades, rollouts, and enhancements. • Train end-users and create documentation for business processes and configuration. • Troubleshoot and resolve planning/scheduling-related issues. ________________________________________ Required Skills and Qualifications: 15 years full time education is required. • 8+ years of SAP experience in ePPDS on S/4HANA. • Strong functional knowledge of production planning, detailed scheduling, and supply chain processes. • Experience with CIF (Core Interface) integration between SAP ECC or S/4HANA and ePPDS. • Hands-on experience with setting up and customizing planning heuristics, pegging strategies, planning boards, alerts, and DS optimizers. • Ability to configure and troubleshoot planning run issues (heuristics/optimizer). • Good understanding of MRP Live, DS planning board, PDS/PDS generation, and resources. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. ________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with SAP IBP or APO is a plus. • S/4HANA certification in Manufacturing or ePPDS. • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology. • Experience in manufacturing-heavy industries. ________________________________________ Soft Skills: • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Effective communicator with both technical teams and business stakeholders. • Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team. • Willingness to travel (if applicable).
