Job Description:

This position is responsible for managing all aspects of the patient accounting receivables for the hospital system. Actively identify trends and fluctuations for both the system as a whole and the individual campuses utilizing key indicators; A/R days, aging etc. to ensure the hospital remains financially viable. Work in close collaboration with other departments of the hospital to implement required changes to meet governmental or contractual payer changes. Continually monitor department and system processes for improvement opportunity.Education: ▪ Required: High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: ▪ Preferred: 1-2 years’ experience in revenue cycle, healthcare reimbursement, billing, insurance follow up, collections and/or accounts receivable ▪ Preferred: 1 – 2 year’ Leadership experience Skills: ▪ Knowledge of accounting/finance systems ▪ Excellent Computer Skills ▪ Strong analytical and interpretive skills ▪ Critical thinking ▪ Familiarity with medical terminology and coding ▪ Effective Oral and Written Communication Licensure/Certification/Registration: ▪ N/A
