Job Description
We're seeking an Inside Sales Representative - This is a fully remote position, locations in the Central Time Zone are preferred.
You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by making outbound calls to prospective clients, with the goal of qualifying leads and converting them into active opportunities. This role supports business development efforts by cross-selling services to existing clients, identifying additional needs and expanding engagement. This role also involves close collaboration with the sales and marketing teams to execute top-of-funnel activities, including lead follow-up, outreach campaigns, and support for broader demand generation initiatives. Success in this position requires strong communication skills, a proactive approach to client engagement, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Qualify/disqualify leads; turning qualified into BDM/CP meetings
Proactively engage and qualify inbound leads to determine fit and facilitate a seamless handoff to the outside sales team
Conduct outbound prospecting campaigns (calls, emails, Linkedin) to drive new business and cross-sell opportunities
Schedule and support introductory meetings between clients and regional Business Development Managers
Develop and maintain account intelligence, client history, and activity notes in Salesforce
Collaborate with Marketing to follow up on campaigns, webinars, events, and other lead generation efforts
Achieve or exceed monthly metrics for outreach, conversion, and pipeline contribution
Assist in identifying opportunities to cross-sell services based on client needs and history
Conduct outbound calls to prospective clients to qualify leads and convert them into active sales opportunities
Identify client needs and cross-sell additional forensic consulting services to existing accounts
Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to execute top-of-funnel activities, including lead nurturing and outreach campaigns
Maintain accurate and timely records of all sales activities and client interactions in the CRM system
Support demand generation efforts by following up on marketing-generated leads and campaign responses
Help refine messaging and outreach strategies based on client feedback and market trends
Manage a pipeline of leads and opportunities, prioritizing outreach to maximize conversion
Meet or exceed individual activity and revenue targets aligned with team sales goals
Stay informed on company service offerings and industry trends to effectively communicate value to prospects and clients
Required Skills/Abilities/Experience:
1-3 years of inside sales, sales/business development, or client-facing experience
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
Highly organized, self-motivated, and goal oriented
Preferred Skills/Abilities/Experience:
Familiarity with the insurance industry or insurance related associated/organizations
Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (including but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook) and Sales Productivity tools/CRM software (Salesforce)
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience acceptable
