Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Employees are expected to work consistently to demonstrate the mission, vision, and core values of the organization.
The IT Security Intern will assist with Cybersecurity and/or Information Security strategic projects related to but not limited to the following:
- Standardizing templates for policy, standard and procedures documentation
- Assist with security operations and platforms, with focus on CrowdStrike and Microsoft.
- Assist with Security related risk remediation efforts
- Assist with governance, risk, and compliance (GRC)
- Assist with security compliance SharePoint security dashboards
- Assist in mapping control statements between NIST 800-171, HIPAA Security Rule, PCI-DSS, CMMC, MAR, etc.

Genuine interest in the health care industry
This internship will begin in late May and the duration of the internship program is 12 weeks. Please note that this is a hybrid working arrangement; some work will be done in our Portland offices and some remotely. Interns must live in Maine throughout the 12-week program.
