The Director, Program Strategy and Partnership, leads American Red Cross strategic initiatives and planning on the Integrated Global Programs team for international disaster preparedness, response, and recovery through innovation, and the development and implementation of strategic partnerships with the IFRC Secretariat and National Societies. This role is responsible for developing forward-thinking strategies that advance integrated disaster risk management, anticipatory action, and community resilience, and work within the global RCRC Movement to ensure adoption and implementation. As a part of the Integrated Global Programs, the Director will help shape the vision for American Red Cross international disaster management programming. The Director will be responsible for shaping program strategies to be utilized in Priority Countries consistent with integrated crisis management and the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement principles and operational frameworks to design impactful, scalable, timely, equitable, and sustainable solutions meeting the evolving needs of vulnerable populations.
In this newly created position, the Director, Program Strategy and Partnership will embody visionary leadership, collaborative spirit and adaptability within ISD, across the American Red Cross and around the world with RCRC Movement partners, positioning the organization to proactively embrace and leverage global humanitarian trends. This position reports to the Sr Director.
Perform all duties and responsibilities in compliance with standard operating procedures and other applicable Federal, State and local regulations.

Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree required.
Experience: Minimum 7 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and related experience required.
Management Experience: 5 years of management experience.
Skills & Abilities: Demonstrated experience integrating innovative approaches to solving humanitarian challenges. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with people from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures. Experience working and leading in a matrixed management structure. Experience working with and within the Red Cross/Red Crescent network is preferred. Experience working with local/national partners. Must be responsible and self-motivated. Candidate must have strong verbal and written communications skills and must demonstrate familiarity with evolving industry standards. Ability to work on a team.
PAY INFORMATION: The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $130,000. We do not offer an annual bonus for this role. Note that American Red Cross salaries are aligned to the specific geographic location in which the work is primarily performed. Other factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include your specific skills, how many years of experience you have and comparison to other employees already in this role. **We will review specific salary information at the time of phone screening based upon your location & experience.**
