Summary:
As a BeyondTrust PAM Engineer, your typical day involves in providing operational support, administration, and troubleshooting for the BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management platform, including privileged access onboarding, credential rotation, session monitoring, and incident resolution to maintain stability, security, and compliance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Provide L2/L3 operational support for BeyondTrust PAM services in a 24 7 or extended hours model aligned to incident priorities
- Monitor platform health and core services (vault access, session management, credential rotation)
- Resolve incidents involving privileged access, vault connectivity, session failures, and privilege elevation escalate as needed
- Onboard applications and systems into BeyondTrust (intake validation, privileged account discovery, configuration, coordination with owners)
- Configure and manage credential rotation, reconciliation, and password change workflows
- Support session monitoring, alerting, and privileged activity review to ensure auditability and compliance
- Execute and validate break glass and emergency access workflows in line with defined PAM policies
- Perform routine operations such as log review, health checks, certificate validation, and maintenance
- Follow change management for configuration updates, patching, and enhancements, including pre /post change validation
- Support problem management and root cause analysis for recurring PAM issues and contribute to permanent fixes and operational improvements
- Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and KB articles for PAM operations
- Coordinate with BeyondTrust support for advanced troubleshooting, defect resolution, and upgrade planning

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security principles and best practices.
- 6 years Hands on experience with BeyondTrust PAM technologies, including Password Safe and PowerBroker (Unix/Linux and/or Windows)
- Experience with privileged account onboarding, credential vaulting, session control, and rotation workflows
- Strong understanding of Windows and Linux administration and privileged access patterns across infrastructure and applications
- Ability to troubleshoot vault access, session connectivity, and privilege elevation issues
- Familiarity with ITSM processes for incident, request, change, and problem management
- Exposure to SIEM integration and PAM telemetry monitoring is an added advantage

Additional Information:
- Mandatory: BeyondTrust certification relevant to PAM implementation or administration (e.g., BeyondTrust Certified Implementation Engineer – BCIE)
- Preferred: Additional PAM or IAM certifications (CyberArk, Delinea, Okta Privilege Access) for cross platform PAM environments
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in BeyondTrust Privileged Access Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
