Position Overview
The Director of Client Solutions provides strategic leadership for client-facing teams within the
employee benefits and health insurance space. This role oversees Account Executives (AE’s) and
Account Consultants (AC’s) and is responsible for pipeline management, renewal strategy, and
directing the flow of business to align with carrier objectives, client needs, and organizational
growth goals. The Director serves as a key liaison between Sales, Account Management, and
Operations to ensure seamless delivery of employee benefit solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executives and Account Consultants
(ACs), driving accountability, professional development, and high performance.
• Own and manage the client and prospect pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting,
prioritization of opportunities, and alignment with revenue and growth targets.
• Direct the placement and flow of business across health insurance and employee benefit
carriers to meet carrier goals, underwriting guidelines, and profitability objectives.
• Oversee renewal strategies, including carrier negotiations, plan design recommendations,
contribution strategies, and timing to ensure successful client outcomes.
• Serve as a primary liaison between Sales, Account Management, and Operations to
ensure smooth execution from new business through renewal and ongoing service.
• Partner with Sales leadership on new business development, prospect strategy, and
competitive positioning within the employee benefits marketplace.
• Collaborate closely with Operations and Compliance to ensure accurate implementation,
regulatory adherence, and operational excellence.
• Analyze market trends, carrier performance, and client data to inform strategic
recommendations and continuous improvement.
• Support and strengthen carrier relationships through consistent communication,
performance management, and alignment with carrier initiatives.
• Drive process improvements that enhance client experience, retention, and team
efficiency.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Risk Management, Human Resources, or a related field
(or equivalent industry experience).
• Significant experience in employee benefits, health insurance brokerage, or consulting.
• Proven leadership experience managing Account Executives, Account Managers, or
Account Consultants.
• Strong knowledge of medical, dental, vision, life, and ancillary benefit products.
• Demonstrated expertise in pipeline management, renewals, and carrier strategy.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Operations, Compliance, and carrier
partners.
• New Jersey Life & Health License required.
• Must maintain 24 continuing education credits every 2 years.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with
the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting
qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
• Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and
other federal, state and local standards.
• Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
• Stand or sit - must be able to remain in a stationary position 75%.
Walk - the person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to
access office machinery, etc.
Work Environment: Remote work may be optional and or required during inclement weather or
a public health emergency. Stable internet and appropriate workspace will be required.
Pay Details:
The base compensation range for this position is $120,000 - $120,000. This range reflects Acrisure's good faith estimate at the time of this posting. Placement within the range will be based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, location, and internal equity.Candidates should be comfortable with an on-site presence to support collaboration, team leadership, and cross-functional partnership.
