Join Our Community: Psychiatric Opportunity in Haverhill, Massachusetts

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Psychiatrist to join our collaborative and well-established Behavioral Health team serving communities north of Boston. This unique position offers a diverse practice model across outpatient, integrated behavioral health, and emergency psychiatric evaluation settings throughout Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Position Overview

This role follows a 7-week rotating schedule designed to provide a balanced and dynamic clinical experience:

  • Weeks 1-6 include 3 days of providing integrated behavioral health services at Mass General Brigham, Haverhill, MA, and 2 days of providing outpatient mental health care at MGB Behavioral Health in Dover, NH
  • Every 7th week consists of full-week coverage at Wentworth-Douglas Hospital in Dover, NH collaborating closely with the emergency department and other hospital-based teams

What You’ll Do

  • Deliver comprehensive psychiatric care throughout the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire communities
  • Collaborate closely with primary care physicians, behavioral health clinicians, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver timely psychiatric evaluations and treatment recommendations
  • Support coordinated, patient-centered behavioral health care throughout the community
  • Participate in a rotating call schedule
  • Maintain high standards of clinical quality, productivity, and collaboration within the practice
  • Develop referral and educational relationships within Mass General Brigham and throughout the local medical community

The salary range for this position is $250,000 to $300,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and is based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant experience, education, and internal equity.
