Job Description​

The Opportunity:

Saint Luke’s Home Health is looking for a Homecare Reimbursement Specialist to join their term.  Saint Luke’s Home Care provides care to 22 counties in and around the Kansas City Metro and has one of the lowest hospital readmission rates in the region, a testament to our high-quality care.

The Shift:  Monday – Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 pm

The Work:

• Determine and obtain the appropriate funding for each episode through insurance verification and authorization, Medicare and Medicaid eligibility checks and verifying that criteria are met for reimbursement
• Referral and authorization data entry 
• Responsible for ongoing re-authorization of service
• Responsible for tracking faxed information to and from payers
• Any other duties as necessary
