Project Role : Software Development Engineer
Project Role Description : Analyze, design, code and test multiple components of application code across one or more clients. Perform maintenance, enhancements and/or development work.

Must have Technical Skills
Service Delivery & Operations Governance
Own end-to-end SAP Basis service delivery for supported landscapes.
Ensure adherence to SLAs, OLAs, and KPIs.
Define and enforce operational standards, SOPs, and runbooks.
Plan and manage shift, on-call, and resource coverage models
Incident, Problem & Change Management (ITIL)
Act as the primary escalation point for critical Basis incidents (P1/P2).
Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and ensure permanent corrective actions.
Govern change and transport management processes.
Chair or participate in CAB meetings.
Review and approve emergency and high-risk changes.
Technical Subject Matter Expert
Define and oversee system monitoring and alerting strategies.
Ensure proactive performance tuning and capacity management.
Review recurring issues and drive problem elimination.
Coordinate with infrastructure, DB, and SAP teams for complex issues.
Provide Subject Matter expertise in SAP Basis Areas
Continuous Improvement
Drive automation and standardization of Basis operations.
Identify opportunities to improve service quality and efficiency.
Leadership & Soft Skills
Strong people management and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management
Ability to make risk-based decisions under pressure
Service-oriented and customer-focused mindset
Nice-to-Have Skills
Experience in 24x7 global AMS delivery models
Exposure to RISE with SAP AMS operations
Knowledge of automation, scripting, or DevOps
Experience managing multi-vendor support models
