About your role:

As a Deal Desk Contract Analyst, you will support the sales organization by reviewing contract terms, coordinating statement of work (SOW) development, and aligning pricing, approvals, and compliance requirements across the deal process. You will work closely with sales, finance, legal, product, and operations teams to improve contract accuracy, reduce risk, and help deliver commercially sound agreements that support client outcomes and business growth.

What you'll do:

  • Review sales contracts, renewal documents, and deal summaries to confirm business terms, pricing, and approval requirements align with company guidelines and approved commercial parameters
  • Research and interpret contract language, summarize key business and operational terms, and partner with legal and sales teams to support drafting and revision of agreement terms and conditions
  • Lead contract and SOW coordination across finance, legal, product management, operations, and other internal stakeholders to move deals through the sales cycle with accuracy and timeliness
  • Analyze pricing proposals, financial models, and supporting documentation to confirm consistency between negotiated terms, pricing workbooks, and contract language
  • Develop and review proposal and SOW content to align client requirements with Fiserv solution offerings, including account processing, card services, item processing, digital and payment solutions, treasury solutions, and loan origination
  • Maintain reporting on contract activity, renewal terms, and pricing compliance to support business visibility, operational tracking, and decision-making
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase contracting efficiency, improve sales support workflows, and strengthen deal accuracy and profitability
  • Responsibilities listed are not intended to be all-inclusive and may be modified as necessary.

Experience you'll need to have:

  • 6+ years of experience negotiating or serving as a lead participant in seller-side contract negotiations for complex commercial agreements, including multi-million-dollar contracts
  • 6+ years of experience reviewing contract terms, researching business provisions, and supporting agreement development in partnership with sales, finance, and legal teams
  • 6+ years of experience analyzing pricing structures, financial models, and contract documentation to confirm alignment between negotiated terms and commercial outcomes
  • Experience managing contract workflows and cross-functional deliverables across sales, legal, finance, product management, and operations teams
  • Experience using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat Professional, and similar business tools to prepare, review, and revise contract and proposal documents
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Law, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience

Experience that would be great to have:

  • Experience supporting contracts within financial services, payments, or fintech environments
  • Experience using Salesforce or similar customer relationship management platforms for opportunity and contract tracking
  • Experience applying revenue recognition concepts and accounting practices in a contract review or pricing environment
  • Experience supporting pricing functions, including pricing workbook review and commercial proposal development
