Summary:
As a Business Architect, a typical day involves evaluating existing business processes to uncover opportunities that can enhance value for the organization. This role requires gathering and analyzing high-level requirements from various stakeholders and designing effective business solutions that align with strategic goals. The Business Architect collaborates closely with teams to support transformation initiatives by preparing detailed business cases and providing guidance throughout the implementation of critical projects. The position demands a proactive approach to bridging business needs with technology capabilities, ensuring seamless integration and operational efficiency.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business requirements within Oracle RMS context
-Prepare detailed test scenarios covering RMS functional areas like merchandising, pricing, inventory & replenishment
-Author test scripts with step-by-step instructions, expected results and RMS data setup conditions
-Map test scenarios to business requirements for full traceability
-Review and validate test scripts with business stakeholders before execution
-Test case execution & defect management

-Execute functional and regression test cases across RMS modules
-Log, track and triage defects with clear reproduction steps
-Coordinate with development teams on defect resolution and retest cycles
-Perform end-to-end scenario validation covering RMS-to-downstream integrations
-Prepare test execution metrics — test cases planned vs executed, pass/fail rates, defect density
-Track and report defect aging, severity distribution and open/closed trends
-Maintain test coverage traceability matrix and sign-off documentation

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- Experience with retail business processes and merchandising operations.
- Strong analytical skills to assess business requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
- Ability to design and document business processes and operating models.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with diverse stakeholders and convey complex concepts clearly.
- Familiarity with change management principles and supporting transformation initiatives.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Oracle Retail Merchandising System (RMS).
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
