The Opportunity
The Cyber Analyst, Corporate Cybersecurity supports the Senior Manager, Enterprise Cybersecurity for Corporate in evaluating, strengthening, and advancing cybersecurity practices across Abbott’s corporate functions. This role plays a key part in identifying and managing cybersecurity risks, supporting enterprise-wide security initiatives, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance Abbott’s overall cybersecurity posture.
This role reports to the Senior Manager, Enterprise Cybersecurity for Corporate and works closely with enterprise cybersecurity teams, corporate IT, and business stakeholders across Abbott to support a cohesive and mature cybersecurity risk management program.
What You’ll Work On
- Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities, threat scenarios, and potential business impacts across corporate environments, following established methodologies and governance processes.
- Analyze and document cybersecurity risks, control gaps, and mitigation strategies, providing clear and actionable insights to leadership and business partners.
- Support the implementation and ongoing execution of strategic, enterprise-level cybersecurity programs aligned with Abbott’s risk management and security objectives.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise cybersecurity leaders, corporate IT, and business stakeholders to advance cybersecurity service maturity and ensure consistent application of security controls.
- Assist in identifying and addressing cross-divisional cybersecurity risks, promoting a coordinated and holistic approach to risk management.
- Contribute to the development, refinement, and maintenance of cybersecurity standards, processes, and reporting artifacts.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by tracking risk remediation progress and measuring the effectiveness of cybersecurity controls.
Minimum Requirements & Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in information security, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or an Associate’s degree or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in working in various environments (on-prem/cloud) in areas of IT or Cybersecurity.
- Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity risk management concepts, frameworks, and controls (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, or similar).
- Experience conducting or supporting risk assessments, control evaluations, or security reviews in a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Experience supporting large IT projects/programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical security concepts into business-relevant risk insights.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across functions and organizational levels.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience creating and maintaining relationships with multiple IT teams in a global, regulated, or highly matrixed organization.
- Familiarity with enterprise cybersecurity programs, third-party risk, or cross-functional risk governance.
- Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., Security+, CRISC, CISM, or similar) are a plus.

The base pay for this position is
$78,000.00 – $156,000.00
