We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to join our Finance> Indirect Procurement team. As a SAM Analyst at NVIDIA, you will Play a crucial role in ensuring our software assets are managed flawlessly and in compliance with industry standards. You will work closely with IT, Indirect Procurement, Finance, Legal, other BU's and partners to help maintain the day-to-day information pertaining to the organization’s software assets. You will be responsible for evaluating and handling multiple license types and software licensing apps, generating reports, supporting software compliance audits and working with teams to maintain an effective software asset management program.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for creating Entitlement Baseline and Effective License Positions in accordance with publisher specifications in SAM tools.

  • Monitoring and identifying compliance risks of software licenses.

  • Coordinating software and license reclamation activities.

  • Optimize software assets through rationalization and consumption analysis.

  • Assist in software audit activities.

  • Answers software license related questions pertaining to purchases, number of installs, usage and provide licensing recommendations to stakeholders to maximize the value of Software Asset Management program.

  • Identify opportunities for cost savings, working with the Software Asset Manager to address efficiency, improve processes, and develop program metrics.

What we need to see:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or business (or equivalent experience).

  • 5+ years of work experience in Software Asset Management domain.

  • Hands-on work experience configuring the software licenses, use-right rules, contracts, purchases to produce effective license positions and build reports in the SAM tools.

  • Ability to multitask, attention to details, prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Focus on business needs and ability to collaborate with team members.

  • Strong problem-solving with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Self-motivated, tenacious with ability to work independently.

  • Work experience with Software Asset Management tools such as: Flexera, Service Now, Productiv, Zylo is advantageous.

The base salary range is 96,000 USD - 155,250 USD. Your base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
