Project Role : Quality Engineer (Tester)
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary: As a Quality Engineer, you will analyse requirements, break them into testable components, and design robust test cases,create reusable test scenarios for functional, regression, API and integration and contribute to test strategy discussions and risk assessments early in the development cycle. Roles & Responsibilities: 1.Test Execution: • Perform hands-on testing across product modules • Validate features across multiple platforms, environments, and data variations. • Maintain test data, environments, and ensure readiness before execution. 2.Defect Analysis & Quality Insights • Log detailed, reproducible defects and drive them to closure. • Work closely with developers to replicate issues, identify root causes, and prevent recurrence. • Provide meaningful insights through test metrics like defect trends, coverage gaps, and release-readiness indicators. 3. Collaboration & Mentorship • Guide junior testers, review their test cases, and coach them on testing best practices. • Collaborate with product, dev, DevOps, and UX teams to ensure full alignment. • Participate in Scrum activities—refinements, sprint planning, and retros— with a quality-first mindset. 4.Automation Awareness • Not necessarily lead automation but understand frameworks, identify automation candidates, and collaborate with automation engineers. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Veeva Vault. - Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices. - Experience with test automation tools and frameworks. - Familiarity with API testing and security testing techniques. - Ability to analyze and report on testing metrics to drive improvements. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Veeva Vault. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
