What You’ll Do    

As a Software Engineer, Embedded Software Engineer, or SQA Engineer, some of the work you do will be to: 

  • Work closely with cross functional teams to specify new designs, understand new product features, and support customer needs  
  • Reference application software to design and develop end products that incorporate our embedded wireless networking technology  
  • Develop and test robust and scalable software infrastructure for the automated verification testing of IoT, MCU, & Wireless products  
  • Develop tools and services to enable embedded software and QA teams to efficiently build and test wireless protocol stack functionality 
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain HAL and low-level software platform
  • Design, implement, and debug system startup code, peripheral drivers, security, bootloaders, system test and verification programs, tune code for optimal resource utilization, reliability, performance and energy efficiency

Who You Are

You will need a combination of some (not all) of the qualifications listed below:

  • Degree: B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical and Computer Engineering   
  • Skills: Python, Java, C, C#, C++, Node JS, JavaScript, VueJS, React, or Angular 
  • Previous coursework, projects,and/or internship experience: database and data management, object-oriented programming, IoT, MCUs, semiconductors, SoCs, embedded devices, simulations and hardware testing  
  • Previous employment experience or knowledge: software engineering processes such requirements, design, implementation, testing, and deployment, building back-end web services, automated test environments for hardware validation or software QA, system level testing of embedded SW wireless products, hardware vs software trade offs 
  • Extracurricular activities within organizations a plus 

The annualized base pay range for this role is expected to be between $76,300 - $175,500 USD. Actual base pay could vary based on factors including but not limited to experience, geographic location where work will be performed and applicant’s skill set. The base pay is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include an annual cash bonus, equity package and a comprehensive benefits package.
