Project Role : Quality Engineer
Project Role Description : Enables full stack solutions through multi-disciplinary team planning and ecosystem integration to accelerate delivery and drive quality across the application lifecycle. Performs continuous testing for security, API, and regression suite. Creates automation strategy, automated scripts and supports data and environment configuration. Participates in code reviews, monitors, and reports defects to support continuous improvement activities for the end-to-end testing process.

Summary:
As a Quality Engineer, a typical day involves collaborating with a diverse team to design and implement comprehensive testing solutions that span the entire application lifecycle. The role includes integrating various tools and processes to enhance delivery speed and product quality. Daily activities encompass continuous testing efforts focused on security, application programming interfaces, and regression suites. The position also involves developing and maintaining automation strategies and scripts, managing data and environment configurations, and actively engaging in code reviews. Monitoring and reporting defects are integral to supporting ongoing improvements in the testing process, ensuring robust and reliable software delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes within the development lifecycle.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve efficiency and coverage.
- Assist in identifying areas for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance testing quality.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on testing methodologies and tools.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Selenium, Automated Testing, Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), TOSCA Testsuite.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Automated Testing, Micro Focus Unified Functional Testing (UFT), TOSCA Testsuite.
- Strong understanding of automation frameworks and their implementation in continuous integration environments.
- Experience in designing and executing test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Familiarity with scripting languages and test management tools to support automation efforts.
- Ability to analyze test results and collaborate with development teams to resolve defects efficiently.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Selenium.
- This position is based at our Chennai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
