Aptive Environmental is looking to hire a full-time Termite Sales Inspector to provide excellent service to our residential pest control customers. Termite Sales Inspectors are expected to convert leads into customers. This is a sales position.

$18/hr plus commission - the average Termite Inspector can make $7,000 - $12,000 per month.

Responsibilities include:

  • Meet daily with warm leads to sell termite treatments.

  • Engage with customers in a friendly and respectful manner.

  • Answer questions and provide clear, concise information.

  • Schedule and confirm appointments promptly and professionally.

  • Follow company guidelines for personal grooming and hygiene

  • Conduct thorough inspections of both interior and exterior areas of the property.

  • Identify locations conducive to termites and preventative measures we would take to protect the home from future infestations. 

  • Identify signs of termite activity, including mud tubes, damaged wood, and termite droppings.

  • Distinguish between active and inactive termite infestations by analyzing signs of recent activity.

  • Document and report the status of colonies accurately.

  • Articulate expectations for curative treatments.

  • Provide a detailed explanation of inspection results to customers.

  • Demonstrate how the treatment will effectively address the specific issues found during the inspection.

  • Develop a clear and detailed diagram of the property highlighting where the termite treatment system will be placed.

  • Ensure the diagram is easy to understand and accurately represents the planned installation.

  • Use the diagram to explain the installation process and benefits to the customer.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to pass and maintain any state regulatory agency-required licensing/certification exams

  • A US driver’s license that has been valid for a minimum of 3 years is required

  • A clean driving record is required (no more than one moving violation in the past year and no more than 2 moving violations in the past 4 years)

  • A drug test and background check will be performed on all new hires

  • Prior experience in termite inspection preferred

  • Prior sales experience preferred
