JR66289 ASSEMBLY SCHEDULER

As an Assembly Scheduler at MMY your key responsibility will be in ensuring loadings (of wafers) are scheduled promptly in meeting the production goals set. You will also be responsible for assisting the Product Planners in all of their functions such as establishing production plans. Additionally you will be required to embark in line management by updating production plans and tracking, monitoring WIP movements to ensure production targets are met. These are also considered as confidential company data and information to be handled with care.

Responsibilities and Tasks

Assist in establishing production plans

  • Assist Planner in analyzing and generating of the production plans
  • Assist Planner in establishing plans to fulfill demand signals.
  • Assist Planner in establishing shipment plans to Subcontractors with Assembly Subcontractor Planners

Manage Scheduling of production needs

  • Review wafer bank inventory and track in-transit wafer shipments arrivals. Initiate priority shipments when needed.
  • Identify and schedule wafer-starts to meet production requirements.
  • Perform small-quantity lot merging based on Product Engineering merging criteria before loading of lots to the production floor.
  • Support Engineering builds base on Engineering requirements; hot lots, qualification, evaluation, samples, etc.

Assist in Line Management

  • Update production plans to enable manufacturing and equipment teams to meeting production goals Maintain files of a highly confidential nature
  • Track and monitor WIP movements and production output to ensure targets are met. Expedite materials movement and load additional lots when required. Manage calendars, keeping track of critical appointments and milestones
  • Assist Planner in tracking production plan misses and backfill these into subsequent week’s plan as required. Support internal/external team building events

Requirements:

  • At least Diploma and equivalent in any background of studies.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an admin/scheduler in manufacturing/semiconductor industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (MS Excel and Powerpoint).
  • Able to work on 12 hours rotating shift.
