The Opportunity:

CACI is currently seeking a Systems Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for submitting purchase orders, tracking delivery schedules, performing factory acceptance testing of new hardware and software while learning the mission and growing into a key engineering role. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located on-site at our facility in Fairfax, Virginia, with occasional overnight travel to our office in Melbourne, Florida and/or other locations as needed to support customer activities.

Responsibilities:

  • Will be focused on software projects, CDRL delivery, and process improvement
  • Work with highly motivated technical teammates that will support and push you and will expect reciprocal action on your part.
  • You will be part of a team and culture of sharing information amongst teammates.
  • Responsible for the technical accuracy for specific customer programs

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Active DoD SECRET security clearance, due to contract requirement
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or another relevant field
  • Experience testing and verifying systems for DoD customer from inception to support and operations.
  • Experience in the test and design of information and operational support systems.
  • Installing, configuring, testing and maintaining operating systems, application software and system management tools in support of DoD customer.
  • 3+ years’ experience in Systems Engineering Life Cycle Management from developing hardware and software requirements, design, integration, iterative process’ to testing, validation and quality assurance process’
  • Experience with SDR (Software Defined Radios) and Spectrum Analyzers
  • Experience with RF software and hardware systems

Desired:

  • Active TS/SCI Clearance
  • Experience developing and integration of prototype and/or production RF mission systems
  • Experience developing and integration of RF mission payloads into manned and/or unmanned airborne platforms
  • Model Based System Engineering experience
  • Strong oral, written and presentation skills

Pay Range: There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is:

$72,200 - $147,900
